MITO-ID Red Detection Kit (GFP-CERTIFIED) contains a proprietary membrane-permeable mitochondria-selective dye suitable for use with live-, detergent-permeabilized- and even aldehyde-fixed-cells. Unlike conventional dyes, such as DiOC6(3), JC-1, rhodamine 123 and tetramethylrhodamine ethyl ester, MITO-ID Red dye highlights mitochondria regardless of their energetic state. The dye is compatible with most fluorescence detection systems, including conventional and confocal fluorescence microscopes, as well as, High Content Screening (HCS) platforms. The kit is useful for assessing mitochondrial morphology changes, estimating mitochondrial mass and co-localizing GFP-tagged proteins to the mitochondrial compartment. APStabilizer is effective at stabilizing phosphatase conjugates in diluted form for extended periods of time with minimum effect on conjugate activity. Stability studies conducted have indicated the APStabilizer retains greater stability of diluted AP conjugates than 50% glycerol, BSA or other commercially available products when stored at 37 C, room temperature or 4 C. Conjugates may be diluted to a use dilution concentration as low as 1 ug/mL and be stable for at least 6 months when stored at 4 C. Product in ready-to-use liquid form.

Cell Biolabs' Free Glycerol Assay Kit is a simple colorimetric assay that quantitatively measures the amount of glycerol in plasma or serum in a 96-well microtiter plate format. The kit measures free, endogenous glycerol by a coupled enzymatic reaction system. The glycerol is phosphorylated and oxidized, producing hydrogen peroxide which reacts with the kit’s Colorimetric Probe (absorbance maxima of 570 nm). Each kit provides sufficient reagents to perform up to 100 assays, including blanks, glycerol standards and unknown samples. The kit contains a glycerol standard and has a detection sensitivity limit of ~5 µM (0.046 mg/dL).
